Sunnyshore Studio is thrilled to be part of the 25th Annual Camano Island Studio Tour. We love welcoming guests to our creative studio and gallery. Here is what you will find at STUDIO #2 on the south end, what we like to call the “cultural capital” of Camano, our Island of Artists.
Jed Dorsey’s Paint Across America show
Jed, one of the leading acrylic artists in America, painted all 50 States. Each framed painting is 10″ X 10″ and a perfect gift for you or someone you love. Jed’s poems coupled with each state are as powerful as the paintings. The painting and signed copy of his Paint Across America book is $225 (if you buy at our brick and mortar gallery over the weekend, or $250 if you purchase through our online gallery. The show opens online on Monday, May 13).
Jack Dorsey Christmas Cards and Carols
We are excited to have a Christmas Store this year. You will find Jack Dorsey original Christmas Card paintings as well and his new book Christmas Cards and Carols. You can also browse through the 20 years of Christmas Cards and even buy a Miniature House as a project for a grandchild or for you!
We will also showcase paintings by the patriarch of our family of artists, including this masterwork of Mount Ranier.
Jason Dorsey Artworks
Sunnyshore’s Artistic Director artworks will be shown including paintings from his Oregon Coast, Bridges of Redmond and Beaches of Camano series.
Amanda Pearson
We are thrilled to have Amanda Pearson with us again. A great, great grandchild of Fanny Y Cory, the matriarch of our family of artists, Amanda is always one of our most popular artists. Her very original style is a favorite. She has a whole range of artwork from magnets to cards to prints as well as originals, her store is a perfect place to shop for a Mother’s Day gift. Last year one of her originals sold for over 8K!
Vintage Watercolorists of Washington
We are excited to continue to showcase Vintage Watercolorists of Washington. This year we have prints from Seiko Konya, originals by Eric Weigardt and Joan Pinney. And we are super excited to have a WHOLE BUNCH or originals by Jerry Stitt. Jerry was one of the leading watercolor artists over the last 50 years. Fairy Store
Jenny has been hard at work preparing a fun fairy story. It will have all kinds of magical gifts, springboarding off the exquisite fairy artwork of Fanny Y. Cory. You can also sign up for an upcoming workshop to make a fairy house or habitat. As leading experts of fairy lore, we are happy to share our insights with you.
