In the story below, Jason Dorsey tells you why he is doing this fairy workshop and how he needs your help.
MEET FAIRY MASTER ANN DORSEY
Years ago I went on a quest to learn the lore of fairies. My hope was one day to sight a fairy. I apprenticed under my mother Ann, who is a Fairy Master. She learned fairy lore from her Grandmother, Fanny Y Cory, who also was a fairy master.
Over the past years I went on many quests to sight fairies. One day I toured the beautiful garden of Betty Dorotik, who lives just one house south of where my great-grandmother, Fanny Y Cory, lived. I suspected – and I was right – that some fairies had immigrated south to her home.
INDUSTRIAL FAIRIES
Over the years I learned a lot about fairies. I discovered that there are blue collar industrial fairies.
BEACH FAIRIES
One time I went with a group of youth hiking around Camano Island in search of beach fairies. That was very dramatic!
SOUTHERN FAIRIES
I even had friends who live in the south share some of their family’s adventures with fairies. And YES, this helped me confirm that there are southern fairies!
I NEED YOUR HELP
I have come close to spotting a fairy. But I don’t think I have, YET. I need your help to help me spot a fairy. Would you please join me at my upcoming Fairy Workshop and help me sight a fairy. Bring your parents or grandparents. Even if they don’t believe in fairies now, I bet they will after experiencing this fairy workshop! And you will probably need them to drive you; I live on an Island far away. When you get here I’ll introduce you to a Fairy Master, take you on a quest to spot a fairy, and show you how to build a habitat and home for fairies that you can take home, and maybe fairies will move in and you could see one, though that is almost impossible to do.
