I woke up on February 3, to big wet snowflakes floating, falling. Fresh snow covered trees and sidewalks, and I knew I had to get to the Sammamish Rivertrail to document this rather rare occurence: snow in February. I hooked Brody to his leash, and captured these wonderful photographs.

I was able to turn a couple of those paintings into photographs.

I posted this painting on Facebook, and a friend was interested in purchasing it. So it is heading to Indianapolis this week!

This painting is going into the “Year on the Rivertrail” series for February 2.

This will be the painting for February 3.

And this will be the painting for February 4.
I made this video to share the painting process. It is for the February 3 painting. It last about 40 minutes.
