This is Jason Dorsey, artistic Director at Sunnyshore Studio. I’m hard at work on Dad’s 85th Birthday Show featuring his (and my and my brother Jed’s) paintings of the Cascade Mountains, It has been fun to learn more about Dad’s involvement in Leavenworth’s transformation as a Bavarian Village. Leavenworth is one of the big tourist attractions of WA. Tucked in the Cascades, it’s Bavarian theme pulls people from Washington, and all over the world to its charm. You may not know the story of Leavenworth’s transformation from an unremarkable mountain town to major tourist site; I’m sure you don’t know the role my dad played in that.
