Jack Dorsey has created Christmas cards for family and friends for twenty years. He teamed up with his son, Jason, on a book that shares the original paintings. Christmas Cards and Carols is a meditation on the meaning of Christmas. The first part shares the history of Jack and Ann’s Christmas cards. The second part tells the story of Christmas through a traditional Lessons and Carols service that weaves Scripture and Song to tell the story of Christmas. This service is designed to be used by either a church or in a family setting. The third part celebrates Christmas through looking back at Jack’s twenty Christmas Card paintings and Christmas carols chosen by his grandson, Judah Dorsey.
Copies of Christmas Cards and Carols will be available at the opening of Jack’s show Seasons. We will celebrate his 84th birthday by the release of the book on that date.
You can preorder your signed copy of Christmas Cards and Carols. We will mail the books in March 2024.

You probably do not remember me, I was in Marysville Art Guild and got into Edmonds Art Juried Shows in the 90’s.
The “City Slickers” of abstract people walking in rain under umbrellas was one of the works you may recall. We met at the Marysville mall once and late Frank Reed was a good artist friend of mine.
