My name is Parks Robinson and I am pleased to announce that Sunnyshore Studio has brought me on board to be the “Studio Operations Coordinator” or something to that effect.
As some of you know, I married Jason’s daughter, Jackie, in August of 2023. Jackie and I lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee for the first year of our marriage before deciding to drop everything, quit our jobs, and move to Camano Island to spend some time with Dorseys.
It was the perfect plan: Jackie and I would go on a grand road trip through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, then the Badlands of South Dakota, and lastly Yellowstone before landing on Camano Island.
We are here now, living in Sunnyshore Studio.
Since moving here, Jenny and Jason have encouraged us to be more involved in the studio business and graciously listened to our ideas about how to make the studio flourish. This has led to me being offered an actual position with the studio. My job as the “Studio Operations Coordinator” is, in short, to help Jason and Jenny bring their numerous ideas to life. This includes helping them organize more shows in the coming year than Sunnyshore Studio has ever hosted in previous years, as well as helping provide numerous art workshops which you are invited to attend.
That being said, we are also excited to announce that we are hosting our “Christmas on Camano” art show, opening on November 15th. This is the first show that the studio has hosted in a long time, so your support is greatly encouraged and appreciated. We announce more details regarding the event in the coming weeks.
